Bosarge, Mayatt

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hancock of Collinsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Bosarge of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kalen Brooke Bosarge, to Frederic Shayne Mayatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Mayatt of Collinsville.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Bosarge is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fears of Collinsville, Mr. and Mrs. V.E. "Bo" Bosarge of Meridian, Bernice Hancock of Philadelphia and the late W.E. Hancock.
The bride-elect is a summa cum laude graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in communication, with an emphasis in public relations, from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of the Society of Scholars, Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Public Relations Student Society of America and the Public Relations Association of Mississippi.
Miss Bosarge is employed by Mitchell Companies.
Mr. Mayatt is the grandson of Lula Mayatt of Collinsville and the late John R. Mayatt Sr., and the late Stanley and Lois Fretwell of Marion, Ala.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in forestry, with an emphasis in forestry management, from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Mayatt is employed by Richton Tie and Timber, LLC.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
