Pigford, Martin

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gilbert Pigford of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Graham, to Joe Robert Martin Jr., son of Mrs. Joe Robert Martin Sr. and the late Mr. Martin of Philadelphia.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian.
Miss Pigford is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lee Cooper Perry and the late Mr. Perry and Mrs. Robert Perkins "Jack" Pigford and the late Mr. Pigford, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School. She received a bachelor of family and consumer sciences degree with emphasis in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Mississippi and a master of science degree in human nutrition from the University of Southern Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and served as vice president of standards.
Miss Pigford is employed by Morrison Healthcare Services as a clinical dietitian at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Martin is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Bill Steed of McCool and Mrs. J.L. Martin and the late Mr. Martin of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Neshoba Central. He received an associate's degree in nursing from East Central Community College, a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree in nursing with an emphasis in anesthesia from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Mr. Martin is a registered nurse anesthetist at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
