Slayton, Hartzler

Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Slayton of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth, to David Michael Hartzler, son of Judy Hartzler of Meridian and Larry and Sandra Hartzler of Decatur.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
Miss Slayton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Slayton of Meridian, Lillian Boatner of the House Community and the late Jim Boatner.
The bride-elect, a graduate of Meridian High School, received a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Miss Slayton is an occupational therapist at Neshoba General Hospital.
Mr. Hartzler is the grandson of the late Arnold and Margaret Olson of Kenyon, Minn., and the late Lloyd and Geneva Hartzler of West Liberty, Ohio.
The bridegroom-elect, a graduate of Meridian High School, received a degree in business information systems from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Hartzler is employed by Computer Science Corp., Pascagoula.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
