ELLISVILLE Services for William Preston Fant will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Ellisville Cemetery.
Mr. Fant, 87, of Ellisville, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville.
Survivors include his wife, Ina F. Fant of Ellisville; a son, Mike Fant of Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Patricia Blackmon of Kilgore, Texas and Portia Anderson of Montgomery, Ala.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Luther Fant; sisters, Louise Pilgrim, Mattie Shows and Ruby L. Kynes; brothers, Herman Fant and Thurman Fant.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
MACON Services for George Ann Featherston will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Macon with the Rev. D.R. Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Featherston, 70, of Macon, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters. Vaughn Nickels of Columbus and Katherine Musil of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Dillard Featherston III of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Kay Benson of St. Simons Island, Ga. and a brother, Calvin Cox of Vero Beach, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Oliver Cox and Katherine Morris Cox.
Visitation will be Tuesday 1p.m.-2:30 p.m. at the church.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Winfred Denson Sr. will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Denson, 64, of Walnut Grove, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughter, Marion Denson and sons, Eric Denson, Jonathan Denson and Winfred Denson Jr., all of Walnut Grove; foster sons, Stephen Allen of Walnut Grove and Michael Allen of Choctaw; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, the Rev. Emmett Denson of Philadelphia and Bonnie Denson of Choctaw and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Denson.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for John Goldman, 74, of Meridian, who died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Robert Boyette, 87, of Meridian, who died Monday, July 19, 2004, in his home.
