Services for Elaine T. Branning will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Sellers, Charles Davis and Carl Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Collinsville.
Mrs. Branning, 79, of Collinsville, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired state employee. She was a member of the former Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Collinsville High School where she was the valedictorian. She was also a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she graduated with at the top of her class with high honors. Mrs. Branning was an extra in the movie "A Time To Kill."
Survivors include her husband, William C. Branning of Collinsville; a daughter, Delores Sturm and her husband, Russell "Buddy," of Collinsville; sons, Richard McDonald and his wife, Kaye, of Philadelphia and Otis Lee McDonald Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Collinsville; a brother, Malcolm Threatt and his wife, Evelyn; sisters, Dean Hodgins of Collinsville, Lynda Jayroe and her husband, Tony, and Cookie Hendon and her husband, Rodney, all of Philadelphia; Sue McDonald of Collinsville; 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth McDonald; and her parents, Clara and Robert S. Threatt.
Pallbearers will be Victor Threatt, Lashley Threatt, Wynn Threatt, Wayne Williams, Sonny Russell and Tommy Dean.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MACON Graveside services for Vera Belle Goodwin were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Goodwin, 90, of Macon, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

COLLINS Graveside services for Lillian H. Ingram will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Union South Cemetery. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ingram, 96, of Hattiesburg, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Bedford Care Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Edril Magee and her husband, John E., of Collins; a son, Albert Strahan and his wife, Libby, of Hattiesburg; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Earl Ingram.
Visitation will be Thursday 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Brenda Ann Bobo will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Dennis Duvall and Murphy Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Bobo, 57, of Philadelphia, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. Mrs. Bobo was apartment manager of Delcor Investment Company. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church where she served as secretary and taught discipleship training. She was secretary for Hope Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her husband, Wade Bobo of Philadelphia; daughters, Tammy Osborne of Philadelphia and Kandi Bobo of Larto, La.; sons, Bryan Scott Johnson of Jackson and Mark Bobo of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Julie Ann Osborne, Jonathan Osborne, Bryan Tyler Johnson and Pender Johnson; her parents, Audine and Olen Burrage Sr.; a sister, Ginger Sistrunk; brothers, Olen Burrage Jr. and Jimmy Wayne Burrage, all of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Renee Bobo.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Willie Lard will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hopson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery in Lauderdale.
Mr. Lard, 72, of Lauderdale, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his eight sons, Willie D. Lard of Meridian, Willie L. Lake and Robert Artis, both of Jackson, Leander Lake and Bobby Aikens, both of Detroit, Lynn Lake and Willie Williams, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jeffrey Artis of Madison; six daughters, Lora Harris and Diane Lard, both of Lauderdale, Cynthia Lard and Marilyn Wade, both of York, Ala., Juan Akins of the Netherlands and Bonnita Carlisle of Detroit; sisters, Matilda Smith of Detroit, Marie Johnson of Lauderdale and Gladys Brown of Bessemer, Ala.; a brother, Roosevelt Lard of Columbus, Ohio; 32 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zack and Mildred Lard.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

Services for Sholanda L. Rue will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lauderdale with the Rev. Danny Gardner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rue, 33, of Lauderdale, died Monday, June 7, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her daughters, Shereka Shenta Rue and Kisha Sherrell Rue; her parents, Willie and Ollie Tucker, all of Lauderdale; sisters, Shirley Sherrod of Lauderdale, Lynetta Gail Lewis and Shelia Tucker, both of Meridian; brothers, Gregory Tucker and Frederick Tucker, both of Meridian, and Willie Ray Hopson of Lauderdale.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
