    Obituaries for Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004

    Retired Kemper County custodian
    DEKALB Services for Leo Holliday will be held today at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Bennie Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Holliday, 81, of DeKalb, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
    Survivors include his wife, Rosie Holliday of DeKalb; children, James A. Holliday and his wife, Miriam, Willie Holliday and his wife, Hattie, all of Meridian, Lee R. Holliday of DeKalb, Leander Holliday and his wife, Deborah, of Edgewood, Md., Timothy Holliday and his wife, Dorothy, of Milwaukee, Obber "Della" Hill and her husband, Terry, Robin Jones and her husband, W.E., all of Philadelphia, Bobbie J. Holliday, Peggy McCallum and her husband, Johnny, and Rosalyn White and her husband, Douglas, all of DeKalb; 26 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Holliday and his wife, Naomi, of DeKalb; sisters, Ina Seals and Jean Thomas, both of Douglas, Ga., Mary McCallum and her husband, Peter, of Milwaukee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
    Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
    Dentist
    UNION Services for Dr. Rex A. Warnick will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Union with the Rev. Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Dr. Warnick, 69, of Union, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, in his home. Dr. Warnick was a member of First Baptist Church in Union, where he served as a deacon for many years. He served on many church committees and was a member of the choir. Dr. Warnick served his community by being active in the Union Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Union Lions Club.
    Dr. Warnick practiced dentistry and orthodontia in Union for more than 38 years. He was a longtime member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association. He traveled to Honduras on several occasions to provide general dentistry.
    He enjoyed spending his spare time piloting his private plane and traveling the country with his family and friends in his motor home.
    Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Warnick of Union; a daughter, Sheree Burton and her husband, Stan, of Ellisville; a son, Robin Warnick and his wife, Kristi, of Northport, Ala.; grandchildren, Elise Burton, Ellyn Burton, Kalli Warnick, Makenzie Warnick and Brittnay Warnick-McMillian and her husband, Terry; a brother, Ervin Warnick of Houston; one niece and one nephew.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jesse and Loree Clark Warnick; and a brother, Curtis Durell Warnick.
    Memorials may be to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 400 Main Street, Union, MS 39365 or to the Mississippi Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 405 Fontaine Place Suite 103, Ridgeland, MS 39157 or to a charity of choice.
    Pallbearers will be Dean Russell, Larry Driskell, Walter Capps, Edsel Cliburn, Dr. Jim Bennett, Bill Cassel, Harold Cleveland, John Henry and Chris Collins.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Long, Joe Cleveland, Robert Mills, Bill Thomas, Dr. J.G. Alexander and Freddie Joe Hollingsworth.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Sandra Stuart Moulds will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Overbee officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mrs. Moulds, 43, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, aunt and sister.
    Survivors include her husband, Henry R. Moulds; sons, Jason Moulds and his wife, Kathy, and Joshua Moulds; a daughter, Jennifer Moulds; a grandson, Jacob Moulds and another grandchild due in May; her mother, Elaine Stuart; brothers, David Stuart and Bobby Stuart, all of Meridian; sisters, Patty Stuart Stotts and Kim Scruggs and her husband, Chad, all of Collinsville; her mother-in-law, Vickie Moulds; a sister-in-law, Angela Moulds Gardner; and a brother-in-law, James L. Moulds, all of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her father, James Stuart; her father-in-law, Ellis Ray Moulds; and a sister-in-law, Sheila Moulds Secrest.
    Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Retired grocery clerk
    DEKALB Services for Earline Knight Vaughn will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Scooba Baptist Church with the Revs. Leon Ballard and David McGowin officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Vaughn, 79, of Scooba, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, in Meridian. She was a member of Scooba Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her husband, Ellis Vaughn; a daughter, Carolyn Bowen and her husband, Fred, both of Scooba; a son, James Henry Knight Jr. and his wife, Betty Lynn, of Brooksville; grandchildren, Bill Sheppard and his wife, Chandra, and Sherry Ford, both of Meridian, Terry Knight and his wife, Carey, of Brooksville, John Knight and his wife, Sonya, Kim Wade and her husband, Daniel, and Lucas Knight and his wife, Brooke, all of DeKalb; 10 great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Alice Jones, Sue Austin, Phyllis Thomason and Becky Temkovits, all of Baton Rouge, La.; and a sister, Mamie Pittman.
    She was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Knight Sr.; and a son, John Louis Knight.
    Pallbearers will be Bill Sheppard, Terry Knight, John Knight, Lucas Knight, Daniel Wade and Gene Ford.
    Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Sheppard.
    Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
