    The Northeast Lauderdale girls soccer team rolled to a 6-0 win over Northeast Jones on Tuesday night.
    Britteny Britain scored two goals to lead the Lady Trojans, while Candice White, Danielle Smith, Lauren Westendorf and Ivy Rawson picked up one goal each. Northeast Lauderdale will host a first-round playoff game on Tuesday.

    NE Jones 0
    The Northeast Lauderdale boys' soccer team improved it record to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in district play with a win over Northeast Jones on Tuesday.
    Chad Brunson and Paul Tate each tallied two goals in the win for the Trojans. Brunson's two goals set a new scoring record pushing his total for the year to 33.
    PREP HOOPS
    Newton Co (boys) 58
    Morton 50
    Ricardo Alcanter pumped in 16 points as Newton County took a big Division 5-3A win over Morton on Tuesday night.
    NCHS trailed 13-11 after one quarter, but outscored the Panthers 12-6 in the second quarter and 20-13 in the third to take control of the game.
    Craig Pruitt tossed in 12 points for Newton county, while Shay Hodge led Morton with 22.
    Wayne Co (girls) 67
    Laurel 52
    Wayne County jumped out to an 18-8 first period lead and upped that margin to 37-23 at intermission on the way to the 15-point win.
    Ratassia Worsham led the 12-4 Lady War Eagles with 18 points while Kathy Bivens added 14 points. Lauren Pittman ended the night with
    13 points for the winners, while Russell added 10 points.
    Shasta Husband led Laurel with 14 points while Clara
    Moffett chipped in with 11 points. Keona Wolverton
    scored 8 points while Tina Agee and Andrea Whyte each
    netted 7 points.
    Sumter Co (boys) 58
    R.C. Hatch 46
    Homestanding Sumter County used 14 points from Chris Law and 10 points and 10 rebounds from Reayando Sturdivant to take the 12-point win.
    Sumter County is now 19-1 on the season.
    Neshoba Ct (boys) 70
    Louisville 40
    The Rockets of Neshoba Central outscored Louisville 21-7 in the second quarter and 26-8 in the third quarter on the way to the 30-point win.
    Anthony Jones pumped in 23 points to move Neshoba Central to 9-13 on the season. Eric Smith scored 17 for the Rockets, while Douglas Hudson led Louisville with 15.
    Wayne Co (boys) 59
    Laurel 46
    Wayne County had a balanced attack led by Davis Howard's 16
    points to take the win over the Golden Tornadoes of Laurel.
    Kamarcus West chipped in with 15 points while Jones added 14 points. Jerrell Powe added another 10 points for the winners.
    Laurel was led by Walter Blanks who netted 14 points.
    Sumter Aca (boys) 76
    Marengo Aca 58
    Jordy Hayden scored 22 points and Michael Truelove added 20 to lead 9-10 Sumter Academy to the Tuesday night road win..
    Marengo Academy was led by Adam Cochran's 26 points. Sumter Academy plays Friday at home against Pickens Academy.
    Heidelberg (girls) 65
    Seminary 22
    Princess Bender scored 18 points to lead the Lady Oilers to a convincing win over Seminary.
    Heidelberg led 15-0 after one quarter of play and 23-14 at the half. The Lady Oilers then pounded Seminary 42-8 in the second half.
    Puckett (boys) 78
    Stringer 43
    The Wolves led 42-12 at the half on the way to the big win.
    Armundo Robinson scored 16 for Puckett, while Terrell Jackson and Royale Purvis hit for 10 each. Wesly Jenkins led Stringer 11.
    Winston Academy 82
    Central (boys) 31
    Jon Duncan scored 21 points to help the Patriots of Winston Academy move to 19-3 on the season with the win over the Vikings.
    Patrick Peterson and Patrick Woodward scored 10 points each for WA, who led 25-3 at the end of the first quarter. Tony Sudduth and Ross Brown scored 12 each for Central Academy.
    Heidelberg (boys) 61
    Seminary 34
    The Oilers used 15 points from Andre Stephens and 13 from Jordan Payne on the way to division win on Tuesday night.
    Puckett (girls) 61
    Stringer 43
    Puckett jumped out to a 32-11 halftime lead on the way to the 18-point win.
    Shanice May scored 23 to lead Puckett, while Nikki Graham scored 16 points for Stringer.
    JUCO HOOPS
    EMCC (women) 83
    Coahoma 64
    The Lady Lions moved their record to 3-13 with the win over winless Coahoma. EMCC led 42-28 at the half.
    EMCC (men) 54
    Coahoma 52
    East Mississippi jumped out to a 28-15 halftime lead then held on for the two-point win on Tuesday night. EMCC is now 6-10 on the season, while Coahoma falls to 2-10.
    Jones (women) 82
    Southwest 72
    Brittany Baham scored 29 points and Sharon Pendarvis tossed in 15 to lead Jones County Junior College to a 10-point win.
    Christin Bradford scored 31 points for Southwest, now 5-10 overall and 2-3 in South Division play, while Dawanna Addison scored 10.
    Jones is now 9-6 overall and 4-1 in South Division play.
    Southwest (men) 79
    Jones 64
    Torry Crumedy scored 17 points to lead five Bears in double figures on the way to the 15-point win.
    Shedrick Kirk scored 14 points to lead Jones, while Milton Collins and John Gray hit for 11 each. Jones is now 13-2 overall and 4-1 in South Division play, while Southwest is now 5-10 and 2-3.
