Allison Leigh Poole of Emelle, Ala., and Casey Eugene Vaughan of Cuba, Ala., were married Saturday, June 14, 2003, in the home of the bride, with the Rev. Charlie Rodriguez officiating.
Parents of the couple are Knox and Jannice Poole of Emelle, and Chris and Karen Vaughan of Cuba.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Charles and Margaret Poole of Emelle, Ann Pierson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and the late James Dover Pierson of Livingston, Ala.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Carlton Vaughan of Cuba and the late Margaret Vaughan, and Virginia Wright of Toomsuba and the late Harold Wright.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Henri's Notions.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Annie Upchurch of Tuscaloosa, Ala., attended her sister as matron of honor.
Other attendants were Carla Egbert and Jennifer Lagrove, both of Toomsuba, Stacy Poole of Dothan, Ala., cousin of the bride, and Anita Smith of Emelle.
Junior bridesmaids were Kristen Poole of Meridian, cousin of the bride, and Elizabeth Waddell of Emelle. Emily Waddell of Emelle served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Greg Egbert and Vaughan Lynch, cousin of the bridegroom, both of Tuscaloosa, Andrew Poole of Emelle, brother of the bride, Reid Vaughan of Cuba, brother of the bridegroom, and Todd Vaughan of Livingston.
Andrew Dunlop of Bessemer, Ala., was ring bearer.
A reception was held in the bride's home following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Flowood.
