Services for Sylvia Hill will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Claude Collins officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill, 41, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Hill of Ft. Worth, Texas; her mother, Willie Mae Adams; a sister, Brenda Rodriguez and her husband, John, all of Meridian; brothers, Kipp Hodges of Meridian, Col. Terry Hodges and his wife, Capt. Claudie Hodges, of Newport, Va., Albert Hodges and Michael Adams and his wife, Christina, all of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Barnes.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Susan Weaver were held Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Sephus Garrett and Jimmie Harrison officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Ms. Weaver, 52, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, in Lauderdale County. She was a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church where she worked with the youth and sang in the choir. She was employed by the Meridian School system where she taught Special Education at West Hills Elementary School.
Survivors include her children, Shauna Kay Fisher and her husband, Brad, of Toledo, Ohio and Donald Lloyd Weaver of Meridian; faithful friend and companion, Terry Aldridge of Meridian; her mother, Opal Jennings of Meridian; a sister, Debby Warriner and her husband, Chuck, of Madison; a brother, Doug Jennings and his wife, Mary Michael, of Andulsia, Ala.; nieces, Elizabeth Ann Bass and her husband, Randy, Sarah Bullock and her husband, Jonathon and Laura Warriner and Carrie Warriner; nephews, Douglas Jennings and David Jennings; and great-nieces, Jordan and Dylan Bullock.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Jennings; grandparents, Dr. Lenard and Elva Paris and Henry and Addie Jennings.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 in Baton Rouge, La. for Betty Jean Harwell Smith.
Mrs. Smith, 71, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003 in Baton Rouge. She was a graduate of Meridian High School.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Lawrence Smith Sr.; a daughter, Susan S. Hopkins and her husband, Gregg, of Sturgis, Mich.; a son, Jesse Lawrence Smith Jr. and his wife, Faith; and a daughter, Angel Smith of Denham Springs, La.; a grandson, Jeffrey Smith; sisters, Nellie H. Richardson and her husband, Jasper, of Houston, Texas, Ann H. Gay and her husband, Paul, of Butler, Ala., Mary H. Scott and her husband, G. Davis, of Meridian; Sara H. Hunt of Mobile, Ala.; a brother, James Emerson Harwell Jr. of Meridian and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Emerson and Jeanette Campbell Harwell, both of Meridian.
