WAYNESBORO Services for Loris Becton Britton will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Road Church with the Revs. Roger Carlisle and Russell Wray officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Freeman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Britton, 85, of Woodland, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Wayne County General Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Teddy Joe Britton and his wife, Carolyn, of Millry, Ala.; daughters, Treobye Lee Utsey and her husband, William, of Butler, Ala. and Brenda Galyean and her husband, Tommy, of Meridian; a brother, Dr. Paul Becton of Arkansas; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Britton and a son, William David Britton.
Visitation will be today 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the church.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Dora S. Gibson will be held today at 1 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ben Gerald and John Lukie officiating. Burial will be in Camp Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson, 87, of Butler, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at Willow Trace Nursing Center.
Survivors include her sons, C.W. Gibson Jr. of Tuscaloosa, James Rodney Gibson of Mobile, Charles Ray Gibson, Grover Kenneth Gibson, both of Land, Land and Tommy Roy Gibson of Toxey; daughters, Bertha Cox of Kenner, La., Sara Long of Mobile, and Marie Rowe of Butler and a sister, Lessie Smith of Picayune; 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie W. Gibson and a granddaughter, Anna Greene.

Services for James Arthur Rutledge will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m., at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Rutledge, 78, of Opelika, Ala., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at East Alabama Medical Center. He was a Mason and will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was cherished by many.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Terrell Rutledge of Opelika; daughters, Ann Seymour and her husband, E.J., of Biloxi and Monica Ford and her husband, Kenny, of Lisman, Ala.; sons, Mike Rutledge and his wife, Kathie, of Marietta, Ga. and Dennis Rutledge and his wife, Linda, of Biloxi; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ora Garrison of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Elsie A. Massey will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.M. Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Massey, 82, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her sons, Glen Massey of Birmingham, Ala. and Dan Massey and his wife, Dorothy, of Charleston, S.C.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a sister, Bessie Massey of Terson, Mont.; a brother, Arlie Kirkland and his wife, Annie, of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett "Buddy" Massey and a son, Homer Earl Massey.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Sylvia Hill, 41, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Riley Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Billy R. Thomas, 69, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
