Johnson, Leake

Amy Elizabeth Leake of Meridian and Daniel Ray Johnson of Meridian were married Saturday, June 29, 2002, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymon Leake officiating.
Parents of the couple are Rev. Raymon and Gloria Leake, and Larry and Dianne Johnson, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Leo Leake of Columbia and the late Camille Leake, Carroll Campbell of Columbus and the late Hazel Campbell.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Eleanor Johnson of Meridian and the late E.P. Johnson, Willie Merle Reynolds of Meridian and the late T.R. Reynolds.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, pianist; and Miriam Chesney, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a two-piece gown of white matte satin. The strapless top featured a shaped bodice accented in metallic cording. The A-line skirt swept into a chapel-length train and also featured metallic cording.
Jennifer Leake Kasselman of Kansas City, Mo., served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Hollie Brand, Tyner Compton, Jill Johnson and Shea Leake, all of Meridian, and Jill Hamilton of Picayune. Blair Bailee Miller of Meridian served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Edward Hyde, Michael Johnson, Randall Johnson, Ben Leake, Chad Thornhill, Brian Goodman, Brian Henson, Eric Johansen and Leslie Williams, all of Meridian.
Jarred Kyle Hyde of Meridian served as ring bearer.
Program attendants were Brookley Knight and Kim Thompson. Rice bag attendants were Erin Neal and Kate Johnson.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Lisa Ross, Theresa Knight, Jo Woods, Mary Ann Hamilton, Beth Jeffares and Linda Smith.
After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple resides in Meridian.
