Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edward Floyd of Diamondhead announce the engagement of their daughter Aimee Suzanne, to Thomas Paul Brabyn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Brabyn of Naples, Fla.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 13, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear, Ala.
Miss Floyd is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold G. Williamson of Collinsville, the late Helen S. Blair of Barnard, Kan., and H. Ronald Floyd of Fair Oaks, Calif.
The bride-elect is a 1991 graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology degree in 1995 from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She received a nursing degree in 1998 from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Memphis, Tenn.
She is employed as a registered nurse with O.R. Nurses, Inc. in Memphis.
Mr. Brabyn is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brabyn of Newport Beach, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Teare of Manhattan, Kan.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Torrey Pines High School in Delmar, Calif., and received a bachelor's degree in international business from the University of Mississippi in 1994.
He received a juris doctorate degree in 1997 from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Mr. Brabyn is employed with Glankler Brown Law Firm in Memphis.
