FRIDAY
ALPHA, a 10-week course of practical exploration of the Christian faith, will begin at the home of Sam and Vivian Fulton. The three-hour weekly sessions will begin at 6 p.m; dinner will be served prior to the meeting. There is no charge.

Coming up
Revival is set for Sept. 8-11 at Mount Horeb Baptist Church, with the Rev. Danny Lanier as guest evangelist. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Sept. 8 and 7 each evening through Sept. 11.
The church is at 5513 Zero Road.
New Era Baptist Church's annual Usher Board Program will be at 3 p.m. on Sept. 8. The Rev. Odell Hopkins of West Mount Miriah Missionary Baptist Church will be guest speaker.
ENTERPRISE Revival is scheduled for Sept. 8-13 at Fellowship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steven Pouncey as guest speaker.
MAGNOLIA, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at Pleasant Hill AME Church Sept. 8 at 6 p.m.
St. Luke Baptist Church's annual fall revival is Sept. 9-13. The Rev. Dr. Zachary S. Operton of Mt. Olive Baptist Church is guest speaker. Services will begin at 7:15 p.m. The church is at 5300 Arthur St.
MARION The evangelism conference "Step It Up" will be presented Sept. 9-13 at Cross+Roads Church. Evangelists will be Paul Beard, Sept. 9 and 10, and the Rev. James Wiley of Mobile, Sept. 11-13. Services will begin at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 9-13, and at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.
A dramatic play production, "A Saturday Night Special," featuring Andersons' Drama Team of Atlanta will be presented, Also, a free concert featuring Young People of Praise will be presented.
The church is at 675 Lockheed Drive, behind Super Stop off highway 45 north in Marion.
CORINTH "Corinth Remembers," a community remembrance service, will take place Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church.
The service of patriotism and worship will commemorate those who perished as well as honor the heroes of Sept. 11. Guests of honor will include members of the local policed and fire departments, emergency personnel, and military and airline personnel. A nursery will be provided.
The Lawmen of Clarke County will present SWAT, Singing With A Testimony, on Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church. The church is at 117 Sixth Ave.
DEKALB A benefit singing for the Rev. Jessie L. Napp of Vardaman Baptist Church in Kemper County will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Music will be provided by vocalists Gwen Clifton and Brandon and Jami Jones.

SANDFLAT COMMUNITY The Seven Seals Program will be at Fairview Baptist Church Sept. 22 at 6 p.m.
BUTLER, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at Morning Star Baptist Church Sept. 29 at 6 p.m.
