Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Belk announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia, to Andy Savell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Savell Jr.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church.
Miss Belk is the granddaughter of Imogene Burton of Philadelphia and the late Tommy Wayne Burton, Connie Fortenberry of Philadelphia and the late J.D. Fortenberry, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Belk.
Mr. Savell is the grandson of Gertrude Shoemaker and the late Dalton Shoemaker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Savell Sr.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
