Brown, Thrash

Rea N. Brown and H. Glenn Thrash will be united in marriage on Saturday, July 27, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brown of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Thrash of Newton.
Miss Brown is the granddaughter of Eugene and LaVerne Robinson of Meridian, and Joe and Faye Vanik of Miami.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and attended Ross Collins Vocational Center. She is currently attending Meridian Community College pursuing a degree in psychology.
While at Clarkdale, she was a member of the National Honor Society, HERO, HERO Modeling Squad and Spanish Club.
Miss Brown is as an assistant manager at Gadzooks.
Mr. Thrash is the grandson of Joe and Pauline Rogers of Pearl; Louise Cooper of Magnolia and the late Cecil Cooper.
The bridegroom-elect attended Sylva-Bay Academy and was active in football, basketball, baseball and track. He is employed by Thrash Floor Covering.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
