50th anniversary
Joe Frank Buntyn Jr. and Carlene Buckley Buntyn will celebrate their golden anniversary with a trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They were married June 15, 1952. They have two sons, Dale and Kim Buntyn; and three grandchildren, Susan, Trey and Katherin Buntyn.
50th anniversary
Sarah and Pete Vining celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2002. They were honored with a reception hosted by their nine children at St. Patrick's Parrish Center.
50th anniversary
A reception honoring Milton and Joyce Pace will be Saturday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Meridian. The couple were married June 29, 1952, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Quitman. Mrs. Pace is the former Joyce Covington of Quitman. The reception is being hosted by their children and grandchildren, Connie Pace of Jackson, Scott and Cindi Pace, Sarah and Micah of Grandbury, Texas, Larry Bateman and Nathan of Alabaster, Ala. Friends and family are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
25th anniversary
Randy and Linda Mathis Farmer will soon celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married June 24, 1977, in Meridian. The couple has two children, Jessica, a senior at Evangel University, and Matthew, a sophomore at Central Bible College.
