Phillips, Dyer

Crystal Gail Dyer and Justin Wade Phillips, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, April 6, 2002, at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Malcolm Lewis officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Billy Sullivan of Vernon, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Phillips of Sebastopol.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Hobert Duckworth, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Sullivan, all of Fayette, Ala.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Gladys Dickinson of Union and the late Ed Dickinson, Maxine Phillips of Sebastopol and the late Claude Phillips.
Nuptial music was provided by Missy Davis, organist and pianist; and Angelisa Chandler, vocalist, all of Meridian.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of candlelight silk and organza. Her matching fingertip veil was anchored by a band of pearls. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses tied with her mother's wedding rings.
Margaret Cook of Shubuta served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Karen Moak of Meridian, Amy Burkes and Carla Phillips, both of Sebastopol, Dwan Anderson of Fayette and Emily West of Dothan, Ala.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were David Phillips of Sebastopol, Bill Sullivan of Vernon, Ala., Lundy Brantley of Philadelphia, Jason Greene, Michael Weaver, Chad Moorehead and Ryan Burkes, all of Sebastopol, Chris Brennamon of Hattiesburg and Joel Gavin of Irving, Texas.
Program attendants were Laken Wheat and Erin Corbett,both of Fayette.
A reception was held in the Northcrest Family Life Center following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Erica Stokes, Candace Carr and Christina Lewis.
After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Meridian.
