Bratley, Shirley

Dr. and Mrs. Forrest Groves Bratley Jr. of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Gail, to Wilson Andrew Shirley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Joe Shirley and the late Jennifer Wilson Ford.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 22, 2002, at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Miss Bratley is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Norfleet Upchurch and the late Dr. and Mrs. Forrest Groves Bratley Sr., all of Jackson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson Academy and received a degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of the MSU Roadrunners, Chi Omega sorority and Phi Kappa Phi.
Mr. Shirley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Norvin M. Wilson and Martin V. Shirley and the Janelle Martin Shirley, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, the MSU Alumni Delegates and served as vice president of the Intrafraternity Council .
Mr. Shirley is director of Student Ministries at Pinewoods Presbyterian Church in Cantonment, Fla.
