Vinson, Howard

Charlene Vinson announces the engagement of her daughter, Arquetta S., to Kevin L. Howard, son of Sadie A. Howard and the late Henry "Pete" Howard Jr. Ms. Vinson is also the daughter of the late Arthur Vinson.
The wedding will be held Saturday, April 20, 2002, at 4 p.m. at the Gilfield Baptist Church in Lisman, Ala.
Ms. Vinson is a 1992 graduate of Choctaw County High School and received a master's degree in education and school counseling from Alabama State University. She is employed by the Choctaw County Board of Education. Ms. Vinson is a member of the Gin Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir.
Mr. Howard is 1992 graduate of Southern Choctaw High School and received a bachelor's degree in math education from the University of West Alabama. He will also begin pursuing his master's of education and education administration from UWA this summer.
Mr. Howard is employed by the Choctaw County Board of Education as a math instructor and coach at Choctaw County High School. He is a member of the Gin Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where he serves on the deacon board, in the choir and in several other auxiliaries.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
