MAEZELL PILGRIM SCARBROUGH

Services for Maezell Pilgrim Scarbrough will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Newton Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarbrough, 80, of Birmingham, Ala., died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Baptist Mont Clair Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include one son, John A. Scarbrough of Birmingham; a daughter, Joann Smith of Terre Haute, Ind.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alma Pickett and Imogene Kelly, both of Newton, and Dorothy Taylor of Gulfport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Scarbrough.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
EDSEL S. WHITE
Baker
DEKALB Services for Edsel S. White will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Church Cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. White, 74, of DeKalb, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara White of DeKalb; six children, Barbara White and Harold Rumble of Atlanta, Yvette Clemons, Kennith Smalls, Anita Smalls and Sidney Smalls, all of Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Macelene Rumble of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.- p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
MARVIN GORDON JR.
Waste Management employee
Services for Marvin Gordon Jr. will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Clay officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
Mr. Gordon, 51, of Meridian, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Gordon of East St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Torrick Pearson of Meridian and Greg Mayberry of East St. Louis; his mother, Angel Gordon of Meridian; three sisters, Annie Marie Pitts of Bassfield, Gloria Harrison of Tampa and Faye Gordon of San Bernardino, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
CHARLIE HOSLEY
Retired
Services for Charlie Hosley will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hosley, 57, of Meridian, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was retired from PSA Airlines.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Johnigan of Russell, Mary Amerson of Chicago and Cynthia Johnson of San Diego; three sons, Walter Hosey of Memphis, Tenn., the Rev. David Johnson of Meridian and Kevin Hosley of Ellisville; four sisters, Mary Hosley of Russell, Helen Thames of Houston, Texas, Bessie Gordon of Chatter and Johnnie Ruth Warren of Meridian; a brother, Johnny Hosley of Hattiesburg; and 18 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Mildred Gibson, 91, of Jackson, formerly of Newton, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Inglewood Manor Nursing Home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for John E. Sims, 78, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Clinton Holliday of Meridian, who died in his home.
