Gandy, Shelby

Linda Thomas of Meridian announces the engagement of her daughter, Crystal Renee Gandy, to Thomas Daricek Shelby, son of Thomas Shelby of Toomsuba and Sharon Daricek Fagan of Meridian.
The outdoor wedding will be held Saturday, April 6, 2002, at 4 p.m. at the home of Ronald and Wendy Fisher in the Zero Community.
Miss Gandy is the daughter of Becky Thomas of Meridian, the late Glenn Thomas, the late M.F. Thomas, the late Sadie Cooper Blair and the late Edmond Cooper.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and the Radiology Program at Meridian Community College. She is currently employed as a x-ray technologist with Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Shelby is the grandson of Josephine Shelby of Toomsuba and the late Oscar Shelby, and Bettye Woodward of Meridian and the late Rudy Daricek.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School. Mr. Shelby is employed in the maintenance department at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
A reception will be held at the Union Station following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
