    The family requests memorials be made to the building fund at Clarke Venable Baptist Church in Decatur.

    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be George Hayes, Ronnie Westbrook, Buck McDonald, Eddie Shaw, Joe Clark and Blake Valentine.
    ETHEL BROWN ALLEN
    Services for Ethel Brown Allen will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Mrs. Allen, 92, of the Gulf Coast, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, in Biloxi.
    Survivors include a daughter, Annie Sue Ward of Ferrytown, La.; a sister, Cola Ross of Meridian; and eight grandchildren, Ray Allen of Lacomb, La.; Vickie Small of Fayetville, Tenn.; Nell Earwood of Georgetown, Ky.; Sue Carroll Haver of Cupertino, Calif.; Linda Ward of Metairie, La.; Cindy Duarte of West Liberty, Iowa; Ricky Ward of Gretna, La.; and David Allen of Des Arc, Ark.; 17 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis R. Allen, a son, Raymond Allen and a grandson, Johnny Ward.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Bill Jenkins, Lamar Ross, Wayne Woodrick, John House, Raymond Moore and H.S. Sutter.
    WILLOIS WILKERSON STRUYE

    Services for Willois "Lois" Wilkerson Struye will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David DeWeese officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
    Mrs. Struye, 72, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her brother, Billy G. Brown, two sons, Rusty Wilkerson and Rickey Wilkerson and his wife, Evelyn, all of Meridian; a grandson, Randy Wilkerson; and a special friend, David Ipox.
    She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William Preston Brown and Catherine G. Brown; a son, Ronnie Wilkerson, and her husband, James C. Wilkerson.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Randy Wilkerson, Doug Faulkner, Bill Gunn, Billy Cook, Michael Faulkner and Billy Kinard. David Ipox will serve as honorary pallbearer.
    LILLIE MAUDE RUTLEDGE SNOWDEN

    Services for Lillie Maude Rutledge Snowden will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Meridian with the Revs. Dr. Raymon Leake and David McCubbin officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
    Mrs. Snowden, 94, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian for 71 years, a former Sunday school teacher and a member of the church's choir and WMU.
    Mrs. Snowden was a member and officer of Colonial Order of The Crown, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the National Society of Colonial Dames of XVII Century, the most noble order of the garter, Americans of Royal Descent, the Auxiliary of American Legion, and the Auxiliary of the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
    Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Leland B. Snowden Sr. of Meridian; a daughter, Sandra S. Kellogg, of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Leland B. Snowden Jr. and his wife, Patti, of Benton, Ark.; three grandchildren, Thomas W. Goldman III, of Menton, France, Capt. Michael W. Goldman, of San Angelo, Texas, and Lee Burke Snowden, of Bryant, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay Rutledge and Mattie Elizabeth Hill.
    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Harry Causey, Jack Jackson, Tommy Brewer, Freddie Poitevent, Charles Roberts and Greg Snowden.
    ARVILLE HAMPTON
    Services for Arville Hampton will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Morris officiating. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Hampton, 39, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Meridian.
    Survivors include five brothers, Darryl, Chantrell and Chantay Hampton, all of Meridian; and Darnell Dennis and Lonnie Hampton, both of Chicago; and three sisters, D. Verlane Freeman of Meridian; Betty Hampton of Chicago; and Faitha Holliday of Atlanta.
    Visitation will be today from noon – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    EVELYN D. SMITH
    Services for Evelyn D. Smith will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Elder David Winford and Elder Clifford Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mrs. Smith, 64, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include her husband, Howard Smith, three daughters, Janet Kendall and her husband, Archie, Kay McDowell and her husband, Bobby, and Linda Smith, all of Meridian; a brother, Hubert Rutherford of Collinsville; three sisters, Mattie Lou Rutherford and Minnie Faye Murphy, both of Meridian; and Bobbie Morrison of Collinsville; a granddaughter, Jana Zaluda; three grandsons, Gregory Kendall, Caleb McDowell and Richard McDowell; and a great-grandson, Joshua Hunter McDowell.
    She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Robert McDowell.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
