NETTIE PEARL ANDERSON HICKS

QUITMAN Services for Nettie Pearl Anderson Hicks will be held today at 2 p.m. at East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Childress and Roper Covington officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hicks, 90, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Hicks of Quitman; two daughters, Doris Flowers of Quitman and Alice Andrews of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Mitchell Anderson of Pascagoula and Woodrow Anderson of Soso; a sister, Velma Lee Ivey of Quitman; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents, George Allen Anderson and Mary Elizabeth Ivey.
ELLOUISE SHARP BURNSIDE

Services for Ellouise Sharp Burnside will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. B.F. Gerald and Wayne Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Sharp Memorial Methodist Protestant Cemetery.
Mrs. Burnside, 80, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice. She was a member of Sharp Memorial Methodist Protestant Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas C. Burnside and Andrew Burnside, both of Meridian; a daughter, Sarah B. Johnson of Platt City, Mo.; and a brother, Rupert Sharp of Collinsville.
She was preceded in death by husband, Cox Burnside.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
STELLA MAE MELTON

QUITMAN Services for Stella Mae Melton will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Manning officiating. Burial will be in Andrew's Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mrs. Melton, 95, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Harris of Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Shirley Broadhead of New Iberia, La., Pat Caudle of Lisman, Ala., and Eloise Brashier of Quitman; three sisters, Mildred Napp of Mobile, Nona Campbell of Elmore, Ala., and Gladys Norris of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Sterling Harris and Joe Melton; sons, Bill Harris and Bob Harris; and her parents, Walter Roberts and Mary Harper.
Pallbearers will be Tony Fleming, Larry Fleming, Bruce Caudle, Gary Harris, Randy Fleming, Benny Fleming and Sterling Caudle.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Susie Benson Evans will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Albert Reid officiating. Burial will be in Henry's Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans, 82, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at the Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Brown of Baton Rouge, La., Pat Carter of Atlanta, Dianna Walker and Polly Kuhn, both of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Benson of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Graveside services for Ruby Lee Burcham will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at DeSoto Cemetery with the Rev. Rodney Wade officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burcham, 83, of St. Clair, Mich., died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at St. Joseph Mercy West.
Survivors include a daughter, Llynellen "Penny" Hulbert of St. Clair; a son, Jerry Burcham of Graham, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Van Camp of Quitman and Aliene Kennedy of Gulfport; a brother, James Ivy of Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
