    Graveside services for Reba T. Moore will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Revs. Dr. Tom Sikes and Dr. Lester Palmer officiating. Burial will be held in the cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Moore, 79, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired secretary and a lifetime member of First Christian Church where she was active in the YMBW church circle.
    Survivors include her son, William C. "Billy" Moore IV and his wife, Lisa, of Meridian; her grandchildren, William C. "Will" Moore V. and Kimberly Moore, both of Meridian; a brother, John E. Thompson of Montgomery, Ala.; two first cousins, Wallace Majors of Gulfport and Leota Brunson of Meridian; four brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and many dear special friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Bill" Moore III; a sister, Vivian Thompson Calhoun; a brother, C.L. Morgan; and her parents, Martin Hardy Thompson and Maude Smith Thompson.
    The family requests memorials be made to First Christian Church.
    Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Jackie Moore, Jeff Moore, Doug Story, John Drinkwater, David McAllister and John Waters. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Moore, Leslie Moore, Preston Moore and Jack Moore.
    FREDNA B. BLANKS
    Services for Fredna B. Blanks will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in Blanks Rose Garden with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Blanks, 103, of Daleville, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 in Daleville.
    Survivors include her three daughters, Mary Rucker of Nanuet, New York; and Marie Hicks and Beatrice Downing, both of Daleville; two sons, Bertis Blanks of Orangeberg, New York; and Fred Blanks of Nanuet; 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be held Saturday from 3 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    DESIREE HUBBARD
    Services for Desiree Hubbard will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church with the Rev. Daryl Fluker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hubbard, 46, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired employee of the Meridian Housing Authority.
    Survivors include her two daughters, Valare Daniels and Tursula Hubbard, both of Meridian; a son, Michael Hubbard and mother, Jewell Daniels, both of Meridian; three sisters, Gwendolyn Peavey and Tonya Daniels, both of Meridian; and Janice Rogers of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Gregory Daniels of Meridian; and Jerome Daniels of Pflugerville, Texas; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    RICHARD PALMER
    Services for Richard Palmer will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leonarld Baker officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
    Mr. Palmer, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002 at his home.
    Survivors include his three sons, Albert Jean Palmer and his wife, Rosie, Ray Palmer and his wife, Barbara, and Jerry Palmer and his wife, Dorothy, all of Meridian; three daughters, Jessie Young and Gloria Rogers, both of Meridian; and Onnie Palmer of Michigan.
    MAJ. WALTER H. BEASLEY
    Retired U.S. Air Force, Worthen Bank
    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. Services for Maj. Walter H. Beasley were held at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Rest Hills Memorial Mausoleum with North Little Rock Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Beasley, 83, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001. He was a native of Meridian, Miss.
    Survivors include his wife, Margaret Miller Beasley; three daughters, Peggy Nell Cordovano of Greenville, S.C., Frances Eilene Beasley of Conway and Rebecca Taylor of Meridian; three brothers, William J. Beasley of Meridian, Ronald L. Beasley of Louisville, Ky., and Charles M. Beasley of Woodstock, Ga.; three sisters, Dorothy Bulman, Patsy Fuller and Sandra Joiner, all of Meridian; and one granddaughter.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, William John and Johnnie Elizabeth Gamblin Beasley.
    The family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas Hospice or Baptist Hospice.
