MCC Green stands in second place

The Meridian Community College Green team is in second place today as it heads into the final round of the MCC Invitational being held at Briarwood Country Club.
Faulkner State leads in team standings with a 298. The MCC Green team is in second place at 300, followed by Shelton State 301; Mississippi Gulf Coast 306, Northwest 306, University of Mobile 312, Bossier Parrish 314, William Carey 314, Belhaven College 314, Andrews College 319, and MCC White 322.
Scorers for Meridian Community College's Green team were: Clinton Hales 73, Daniel Boles 74, Brandon Laird 76, Josh Martin 77, and Jamey Sullivan 87.
Scorers for MCC's White team were David Bailey 78, Cameron Hunt 81, Trey Vaughn 81, Chris Davis 82, and John David Barr 88.
Two MCC golf team members are playings as individuals. Brett Clopton fired a 79 while Nicholas Swanner shot a 81.
The tournament will conclude today.
