Junkins, Dean

Deanna Marie Dean of Meridian and Joshua Micheal Junkins of Collinsville were married Saturday, July 14, 2001, in the gazebo at Lakemont, with Judge Jim Edwards officiating.
Parents of the couple are Karen and Jeff Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dean Jr., and Tom and Susan Junkins of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bride are Charles and Helen Dean, Mellie Palmer, Sonny and Shirley Palmer, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Wiggs of Montgomery, Ala., formerly of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Miriam and Maurice Junkins, Beryl Clark and the late David Clark of Barton, Md.
The bride was given in marriage by her family. Matron of honor was Karen Palmer of Meridian. The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's mother following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Polly Dean Crocker, sister of the bride, and J.B. Pannell, aunt of the bride.
The couple resides in Meridian.
