Giachelli, Phillips

Melissa Ann Giachelli and Barry Wade Phillips, both of Brandon, are engaged to be married at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Giachelli of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Giachelli and Kathleen Tharp, all of Greenville, and the late John Travis Tharp.
Miss Giachelli is a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Greenville. She attended Delta State University and received a bachelor's degree from The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. She is employed as a pharmacist with Wal-Mart in Pearl.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Phillips of Philadelphia. He is the grandson of Hanie Carter of Philadelphia and the late J. B. Carter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Phillips.
Mr. Phillips is a graduate of Neshoba Central High and East Central Community College. He attended Mississippi State University and is a graduate of The University of Mississippi with a doctorate of pharmacy degree. He is currently employed as a pharmacist with Wal-Mart in Jackson.
