SEBASTOPOL Services for Herbert Turner will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sebastopol Methodist Church, with the Revs. Richard Rankin and Skipper Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Sebastopol City Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Turner, 85, of Sebastopol, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Lackey Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Lorean Turner of Sebastopol; a daughter, Dana Eldridge of DeKalb; a sister, Jill Harris of Mobile, Ala.; two step-daughters, Mary Holcomb of Flora and Judith Hodge of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, George Brittan Turner and Larry Kipper Turner.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Geneva Jones Harris will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Phillip Heidelburg officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton County with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harris, 94, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ship Jones, and her mother, Scochier Fielder.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
RUFUS CARLTON SAVELL

PHILADELPHIA Services for Rufus Carlton Savell will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Union.
Mr. Savell, 81, of Union, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, in his home. He was in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine G. Savell of Union; three sons, Joseph Marlin Savell of Burke, Va., Michael Allan Savell of Springfield, Va., and George Mark Savell of Hopkinton, Mass.; three sisters, Dean Scott of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Lexie Williamson of Wilkesboro, N.C., and Cleo Crawford of High Point, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWTON Services for Helen Adams Chapman will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Richard Wiman and Dr. Charles Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Chapman, 80, of Newton, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City. She was born in Thomastown and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Newton.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Brunson, and her husband, Allen, of Ridgeland; a son, Larkin Chapman Jr., and his wife, Pam, of Belzoni; a sister, Nina Elias of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, John Adams of Thomastown; and four grandchildren, Reed Brunson and Lori Brunson, both of Ridgeland, and Larkin Chapman III and Justin Chapman, both of Belzoni.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin Chapman Sr.; a sister, Edith Boykin; and two brothers, Herbert Adams and Bobby Adams.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Reed Brunson and Larkin Chapman III, and Deacons of the First Presbyterian Church in Newton.
The family requests memorials be made to Bethany Christian Services, 2618 Sutherland Drive, Jackson, MS 39216-4825.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the service.

Services for Louise Irene H. Johnson McCallum will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Valley Baptist Church on Seventh Avenue, with the Rev. Tony Burks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McCallum, 65, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Earth McCallum of Meridian; four daughters, Ethel Burton of Seattle, Taffy Ruffin and her husband, Conrad, La Tonia Johnson and Ruth Johnson, all of Meridian; four sons, Jimmie Johnson and his wife, Rose Mary, Johnny Johnson, Walter J. Johnson and his wife, Carolyn, and Timothy R. Johnson, all of Meridian; a sister, Earnestine Mosley of Meridian; a brother, Hubbard Hopson of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
