    OBITUARIES FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 21, 2001

    HATTIESBURG Graveside services for Eugene Wilder Jr. will be held today at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery. Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Wilder, 78, of Oxford, formerly of Hattiesburg, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
    Survivors include a son, David E. Wilder of Thomasville, Ga.; two daughters, Melanie W. Parker of Meridian and Sara W. Embrey of Senatobia; and seven grandchildren.
    EMMA RUFFIN
    Services for Emma Ruffin will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Howell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Ruffin, 90, of Meridian, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at East Mississippi State Hospital.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Ruffin.
    MARVIN H. LUCROY
    Retired Baptist minister, La-Z-Boy
    NEWTON Services for Marvin H. Lucroy will be held today at 3 pm. at Beat Line Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Griffith and Mark Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Lucroy, 74, of Decatur, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Enterprise. He was a retired Baptist minister and member of Beat Line Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Louise Perkins Lucroy of Decatur; a daughter, Donna Mallard and her husband, Michael, of Enterprise; grandchildren, Rona Sullivan of Selma, Ala., Laura Walker of Quitman and Cheryl Mallard of Enterprise; a sister, Faye Tyer of Sebastopol; and six great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers, Percy, Woodrow and Leon Lucroy.
    DORIS ESHEE
    Homemaker
    Graveside services for Doris Eshee will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Duffee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Martin Snowden officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Eshee, 62, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Hattiesburg.
    Survivors include her husband, Woodie Eshee of Collinsville; five daughters, Ann Fultze, Debbie Henry and Sharon Weir, all of Meridian, Tammy Neese of Suqualena and Deloris Strague of Jackson; two sons, Roy Pettis of Orlando, Fla. and James Edward Eshee of Little Rock; three sisters, Lulla Vance and Brenda Robins, both of Philadelphia, and Virginia Wildhaber of Macon; four brothers, Horace Neese, Odis Neese, Donnie Ray Neese and Alvin Neese, all of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
    ELMER WILSON
    DEKALB Services for Elmer Wilson will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Union Herald Church Cemetery.
    Mr. Wilson, 90, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    GRANVILLE LAVERNE WALTON
    Retired construction maintenance
    UNION Services for Granville Laverne Walton will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Linwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Mann officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Walton, 79, of Jackson, formerly of Union, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
    Survivors include his wife, Georgena Coats Walton of Jackson; three daughters, Bobbie Arredondo of Driftwood, Texas, Patricia Ann Pourali of Memphis and Linda Laverene Montague of Bay City, Texas; two sons, Dwight Walton of Pearl and Travis Walton of Jackson; two brothers, H.L. Walton of Hattiesburg and Hubert Walton of Decatur; a sister, Mary Sue Killen of Hattiesburg; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    HOMER BOUNDS
    Retired truck driver
    Services for Homer "Bee Bop" Bounds will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Excell Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Bounds, 81, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Care Center in Louisville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
    Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Bounds and Emma Dock and her husband, Vest, all of Irvington, N.J., and Glenda Martin of Meridian; a son, Homer Bounds Jr. of Meridian; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
    Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    ROBERT LEE GREEN
    Retired
    Services for Robert Lee Green will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church in Topton with the Rev. Thomas Howell officiating. Burial will be in White Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Green, 53, of Toomsuba, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include his wife, Pearlie Whitehead Green, a son, Robert E. Green, three daughters, Linda Green Burns, Barbara Green and Sabrina Green, all of Louisville, Ky.; his mother, Jessie Mae Green of Meridian; three sisters, Shirley Hickard and her husband, David, of Las Vegas, Mattie Holliday and her husband, Curlee, of DeKalb and Rennie Jones and her husband, James, of Meridian; two brothers, Arlie Green and his wife, Linda, of Omaha, Neb. and Willie Green of Meridian; seven grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
    Visitation will be Friday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Jack McAllister, 73, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
