Auriel attended Pearl High School.
If one person could come watch you play, who would it be?
My family.
What does the experience of the National Tournament mean to you?
I'm excited about making it to Nationals. This will be a good experience for me. This tournament will give me a better view of what big-time competition is all about.
Is there a team in this field you'd most like to beat?
Chattanooga State.
What would you like to take away from this tournament?
A National Championship.
Describe this team in as few words as you can.
Versatile.
The book on Auriel: The daughter of Henry and Sheila Jenkins, Auriel has been described by Eakins as potentially the best outfielder to ever play for the Lady Eagles.
She has made the most appearances this season, with 50 games under her belt. Over that span, her offensive output has risen steadily and she now boasts a .315 average.
Jenkins is second on the team in runs batted in with 32. In center, she has a .951 fielding percentage, with only four errors all season. After her MCC days are over, she plans to attend Southern Mississippi.
Nicole Jones
Sophomore
Second base
Liberty
Bats: right Throws: right.
Nicole attended Amite School Center.
If one person could come watch you play, who would it be?
My grandparents.
What does the experience of the National Tournament mean to you?
When we went to nationals last year, some people could have said we just got lucky. Now that we're back, people will have to look at us and say we were just that good. We have a lot of heart.

Chattanooga State.

A National Championship.
Describe this team in as few words as you can.
Hard working, we all have a lot of fun together, too.
The book on Nicole: The daughter of Billy and Ellen Jones, Nicole is another sophomore who saw limited time last season, playing behind the departed All-Region Player in Robbi Roberson.
This season, Jones seems to be making the most of her situation at second base. Jones is the textbook role player, filling in and doing what is needed in the field.
She is still undecided on her four-year institution. Her message to the rest of the team: I wish us well in Nationals and best of luck in our future.'
