Retired Navy and former barber
JACKSON Services for William E. "Andy" Andrews will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Chapel. Burial will be in Rosemont Gardens.
Mr. Andrews, 86, of Florence, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, in his home. He was a former resident of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Winfield Andrews and a son, Barry Andrews, both of Florence; two brothers, T.W. Andrews of Florence and R.B. Andrews of Pelahatchie; two sisters, Josie Grantham of Pearl and Evelyn Balko of Clinton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Andrews and Steve Andrews.
The family requests memorials be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Town Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS.
Visitation will be today from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday beginning at noon.
SARA ANN NEAL SHIRLEY

QUITMAN Services for Sara Ann Neal Shirley will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Winston Burnside and Raymond Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Bucatunna Cemetery.
Mrs. Shirley, 72, of Quitman, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. W.L. "Pete" Shirley of Quitman; a daughter, Sara Margaret Smith of Stonewall; a son, William Lavon Shirley and his wife, Nora L., of White Sulphur Springs, W.V.; four sisters, Ella Mae Long of Quitman, Wilma Warning and her husband, Rex, of Stonewall; Cynthia Hinson and her husband, Douglas, and Geneva Dearman and her husband, Clyde, all of Meridian; a brother, John William Neal and his wife, Esther, of Meridian; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Nichole Shirley and David Greg Crocker.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Cletus "Pete" Smith and a grandson, William Eric Crocker.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Hinson, Steve Neal, Billy Haguewood, Michael Hinson, Donald Wayne Haguewood and Thomas Long.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
RONNIE CHICKAWAY

SEBASTOPOL Services for Ronnie Chickaway will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chickaway, 34, of Conehatta, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Choctaw Health Center.
Survivors include his mother, Noleen Chickaway, three daughters, Asha Chickaway, Keshia Chickaway and Lakita Chickaway, three sons, Ronnie Chickaway Jr., Dameon Chickaway and Ronnie Dean Chickaway, four brothers, Alford Chickaway, Troy Chickaway, Randall Chickaway and Alan Chickaway; and a sister, Lynette Farmer, all of Conehatta; and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by Ross Chickaway and Ross Chickaway Jr.
Visitation will be held at the family home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Charles Amos will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Boque Chitto Baptist Church with the Rev. Doby Henry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Amos, 35, of Louisville, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at Choctaw Health Center.
Survivors include his common law wife, Loena Cotton and a daughter, Charla Renee Cotton, both of Louisville; five sons, Kinsley Bell, Joel Bell and Elliot Bell, all of Philadelphia, Charles Rydell Cotton and Tom Hickman, both of Louisville; his mother, Mazelle John and his stepfather, Oden John, both of Philadelphia; two sisters, Linda Clemons of Louisville and Fannie Clemons of Philadelphia; four stepsons, Joshua Neil Hickman, Kevin Hickman, Danny Cotton Jr. and Randolph Cotton; a stepdaughter, Matilda Cotton; and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Amos and a brother, Acie Amos.
Visitation will be held today at the home of Mary Morris.
