SNELL COMMUNITY The Hedgepeths will be in concert April 21 at 7 p.m. at Snell Church of God.
The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra of Highland Baptist Church will present "God's Trombones." Graham Smith will be featured in the dramatic preaching from a collection of short sermons by James Weldon Johnson.
Performances will be held April 22 at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Philadelphia and April 29 at 7 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
Homecoming services will be held April 22 at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Church of God.
The Rev. Jessie L. Napp will be guest speaker. A potluck dinner will be held after the morning service. At 1:30 p.m., a musical by the Gospel Strings Quartet of Moss Church of God will be presented.
The church is located at 4515 County Road.
PRESTON The annual Women's Day Program will be held April 22 at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Rosa Sanders, president of the Mt. Olive District Women's Convention and president of the New Educational State Women's Convention, will be guest speaker. "Christian Women Committed to Mission, Education and Evangelism" will be the theme.
The church is located on Highway 21 South. QUITMAN The Praise and Deliverance Christian Center will present the outreach men's ministry "Men of Valor" on April 22 at 4 p.m. The ministry will be presented every fourth Sunday.
The church is located at 612 North Archusta Ave., Highway 45.
The afternoon celebration will include prayer, entertainment, food and fellowship. Proceeds from the tea are used for various charitable activities.

VOSSBURG The Seven Seals Program will be held April 22 at 6 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church.
LAKE Heirline and John Lanier will be in concert April 27 at 7:30 p.m. at The Sanctuary Worship Center.
A love offering will be taken.
The center is located at 1197 Old 80 Road.
A Meridian District United Methodist Youth Rally will be presented April 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.
The one-day event is open to youth in sixth through 12th grades. Guest speakers will be Spud Mathis of Nashville, William and Jill Donnell of Jackson, Tenn. The day will also will include games and other activities.
The cost is $7 and the deadline to preregister is April 23. For more information, call 693-1521 and ask for Roger.
The Scooba Circuit Fifth Sunday Morning Service will be held April 29 with Blues Chapel United Methodist Church as host.
A combined Sunday School will be held at 10 a.m. with Keys Chapel United Methodist Church and Tomola Bethel United Methodist Church. A special morning worship service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
