PHILADELPHIA Services for J.L. Link will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Newton County, with the Revs. Lin Chesney and Clifford Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Link, 78, of Quitman, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Link of Quitman; two sons, James L. Link Jr. of Crystal Springs and Jimmy Ross Link of Tillatoba; a daughter, Kathy Link Goforth of Union; a sister, Jewel Howington of Little Rock; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Rye W. Link.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
L.O. DICKERSON
SEBASTOPOL Services for L.O. Dickerson will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church, with the Revs. Mark Copeland and Jerry Wayne Dillion officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dickerson, 81, of Union, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Tune Dickerson of Union; a brother, John Adam Dickerson; eight sons, Bobby Dickerson of Hollandale, Jeff Dickerson of Vicksburg, Donald Alford Dickerson of Myrtle; Gary Lynn Dickerson of Glenn Allen, Lloyd D. Dickerson Jr. of Flora, Billy Joe Dickerson of Newton and Jimmy Ray Dickerson of Newton, Jerry Ray Dickerson of Vicksburg; two daughters, Margie Overall of Jackson and Jan Farve of New Orleans; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Earl Dickerson.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the church.
ROSABELL R. HAMPTON
Services for Rosabel R. Hampton will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Craig Williams officiating. Burial will be in Kemper Springs Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hampton, 86, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a sister, Quennie Victoria Gordon of Meridian; four daughters, Winifred Williams, Ruby Easter and Henri Faye Griffin, all of Meridian, and Augusta Bohannon of Altadena, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Emma Richards of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a son, Joe David Blanks Sr. of Huntsville, Ala.; 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
