PC Lady Bobcats win 3 games

Phil Campbell picked up three wins this week beating Shoals Christian 49-34, Cherokee 55-21 and Lexington 52-41.

In the Shoals Christian win Phil Campbell struggled out the gate but dominated the Flame in the second quarter 19-1 to lead 25-5 at halftime. The Bobcats extended their lead to 36-13 in the third quarter taking a comfortable lead.

Layla Baker led Phil Campbell with 12 points followed by Leela Baker with 11 points. Georgia Motes and Addie Gilbert scored eight points each. Bailey Jewell and Kylee Santiago scored three points, followed by Emily Walker with two points, and Madison Baker added one point.

In the Cherokee game Phil Campbell jumped out to a 16-4 lead in the first quarter and led 27-11 at halftime. The Bobcats continued to extend their lead on the Indians to 35-15 in the third quarter.

Leela Baker led with 14 points followed by Gilbert with 13 points. Layla Baker scored eight points, Motes six points, Jewell five points, Santiago five points, and Walker four points.

The Bobcats picked up a big win at the end of the week beating Lexington 52-41. Phil Campbell trailed by one point at the end of the first quarter 17-16 but outscored Lexington 26-11 through the second and third quarters to take a 42-28 lead into the fourth quarter.

Leela Baker had a huge game scoring 28 points. Rounding out the scoring was Motes with eight points, Layla Baker seven points, Gilbert four points, Jewell two points, and Gracie Harris one point.
