Failure to report to community corrections results in jail time

RUSSELLVILLE – A Russellville woman is facing additional charges after she failed to report to Franklin County Community Corrections after pleading guilty to one count of chemical endangerment of a child in 2024.

Circuit Court Judge Brian R Hamilton ordered that Breannia Malone’s probation be revoked on March 28, 2024, but she had not been arrested.

Malone, 33, was arrested by members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office last week. She was charged with one count of chemical endangerment of a child and one count of first-degree escape, as well as a probation violation.

Hamilton’s 2024 order calls for Malone to serve 45 days in the county jail and then serve one year in community corrections.

Malone is also to be assessed with need for drug rehabilitation and is ordered to follow the recommendations of community corrections, according to the court order.

After she serves her time in community corrections, she also will serve one year of supervised probation.

Malone remains in the Franklin County Jail, according to jail records.
