Tharptown JV falls to Shoals Christian

Shoals Christian defeated Tharptown’s junior varsity softball team 4-1 in the Franklin County finals. Other teams playing included Haleyville, Covenant Christian and Phil Campbell.

During intermission on Saturday, there was a base running competition during which Tharptown’s Alyssa Fischer won a homerun derby with five homeruns.
