    Ella Goggans crowned Miss RHS 2025

    RUSSELLVILLE – Ellen Goggans was crowned Miss Russellville High School queen for 2025 on Friday night at the Russellville City Schools Auditorium.

    Twenty-three Russellville High students took to the stage to compete in the 43rd annual pageant, being judged in the categories of interview, talent and evening gown.

    Goggans is the granddaughter of Neal and Pam Taylor. A senior at RHS, she is the captain of the varsity cheerleading team and a member of the varsity girls golf team. She also is a member of the Technology Students Association, Future Health Professionals Club and Christian Students United. She takes part in competitive cheerleading and was recently selected for the UCA staff.

    Grade representatives were chosen for ninth through 11th grade, and Miss RHS and the first and second alternates were all chosen from the 12th grade.

    Other awards given out were photogenic (each grade) and a viewer’s choice award.

    Sponsored by the RHS Annual Staff, the pageant is the group’s main fundraiser to help make the price of yearbooks as cost effective as possible.

    The pageant also featured 26 Little Sisters and 28 Rising Stars. Little Sisters are Russellville Middle School students chosen by the contestants to introduce them during the talent competition. Rising Stars come from Russellville Elementary and West Elementary, and they accompany their contestant onstage during the evening gown revue.

    The pageant also featured special entertainment from Addie’s Flip, Tip and Tap Trio, which consists of Tinley Cleveland, Ruby Harbin and Lyza Shaw Herring, and from Miss RHS 2024 Ellie Willis. Miss RHS 2022 Madeline Cooper emceed the event.

    This year’s Miss RHS Little Sisters were Brandtley Benford, Maci Boyd, Layla Cleveland, Tinley Cleveland, Macy Adeline Hall, Ruby Harbin, Ella Grace Hargett, Lyza Herring, Jeliyah Jackson, Charleigh James, Lydia Kiel, Aleya Lane, Addielynn Marsh, Keylee Mayfield, Callie Odom, Collins Odom, Mackie Drew Parker, Darby Pinkard, Kingzlee Poss, Rosa Rodriguez, Lily Rogers, Layla Joy Rush, Bayleigh Warhurst, Kymani Williams, Avery Willis, and Samantha Wilson.

    This year’s Miss RHS Rising Stars were Ellie Aycock, Baylor Grace Bradford, Brinleigh Brown, Avery Boutwell, Mae Campbell, Amelia Colley, Jaida Darby, Macy Brooke Ergle, Abby Rose Hein, Sloan Hellums, Liveigh Hester, Willa Hood, Hadley Kate Horton, Eliane Kastberg, Kennadie Keeton, Charlee Knight, Cassidy Lane, Maggie Mae Little, Mary Ellen Little, Reese Mayer, Raylee Peden, Addison Rikard, Elena Rodriguez, Chloe Smith, Emberly Swinney, Mazie Brooke Vandiver, Aubrey Warhurst, and Campbell Wright.

    Escorts were Alejandro Bermudez, Zay Hubbard, Uriel Mojica, Cade Parker, Javan Poss, Bryan Ruiz, Richard Scott, and Jake Sturdivant.

    “We pride ourselves on excellence and tradition that make this pageant recognizable across the state,” said Miss RHS Pageant Director Lauren Mae Wallace. “The 2025 Miss RHS contestants have put in countless hours of hard work.”

    “The Miss RHS Pageant is a rich tradition that showcases the amazing talents and achievements of Russellville women in pursuit of excellence,” said Miss RHS Coordinator Hannah Bendall. “We are so thankful for our community that supports the Miss RHS pageant and RHS Annual Staff.”
