Daylight saving time takes the stage

We Say

Did you remember to set your clocks an hour ahead over the weekend? Nowadays, a lot of our time-keeping devices perform this task automatically, but many of us still have at least a few digital or analog clocks that require manual adjustment.

It can take a little while to get used to the new time. Perhaps you have found yourself yawning more than usual this week. “Springing forward” can be more difficult than “falling back” in the fall when we set our clocks back an hour.

It does allow for more daylight hours, though, and that can certainly be an advantage. As with many things in life, it comes with pros and cons. How will you be taking advantage of your extra daylight? We have a lot of wonderful areas to explore and enjoy in Franklin County, so consider making plans to have fun in the great outdoors right here at home.
