Bobcats demolish Sulligent, 24-2

The Phil Campbell Bobcats delivered a stunning offensive display, overwhelming the Sulligent Blue Devils with a 24-2 victory.

The Bobcats’ bats exploded for 21 runs in the first inning alone, setting the tone for a dominant performance.

Senior Cale Faust provided the highlight of the night, launching a grand slam that ignited the massive first-inning rally. The offensive onslaught was relentless, with seven players recording multihit games. Shooter Motes, Chandler Benford, Koltin Hester and Faust each collected three hits, while Braxton Mayfield, Hagen Raper and Isaac Duboise added two each.

The Bobcats also showcased their power with extra-base hits. Bentley Hill, Mayfield, Raper and Trace Duboise contributed doubles to the offensive barrage.

Hackleburg 5, Phil Campbell 2

Hester’s solo home run was Phil Campbell’s lone highlight in a 5-2 loss to the Hackleburg Panthers on Saturday.

Hackleburg outhit Phil Campbell 8-5.

Faust added a single and an RBI.
