Community Spirit Bank welcomes new loan officer

RUSSELLVILLE — Billy M. Bolton, chairman of the Board of Community Spirit Bank, has announced that Marilyn Mayfield of Russellville has been hired as loan officer.

“On behalf of the Community Spirit Bank Board of Directors and our holding company, Independent Bancshares, Inc., it is my pleasure to announce the addition of Marilyn Mayfield to our staff,” Bolton said.

Mayfield brings 40 years in community banking with her to the position.

“Her extensive experience, deep knowledge, and steadfast commitment to community service make her an exceptional addition to our lending team,” Bolton added, noting Mayfield’s career spans “every facet of the lending and underwriting process.”

Over the years, she has also contributed her expertise to numerous community boards, further demonstrating her passion for serving and strengthening the communities she calls home.
