Don’t miss remaining chance to enter coloring contest

We Say

This is the last week for this year’s coloring contest for young artists! All entries, along with entry forms, are due THIS Friday, Dec. 20, and we will share the winners in the Dec. 25 edition of the Franklin County Times.

A contest isn’t a contest without prizes for the winners. A $25 Walmart gift card will be awarded to the top coloring champs in three age divisions – 6 and younger, 7-9 and 10-12. When it comes to Christmas creativity, we want everyone to feel like a winner; so, every entrant will receive a free box of crayons and a coloring book.

Children may enter more than once, but no photocopies will be accepted; if you need extra copies of any of the coloring pages, we have plenty at our office in the Byars Building in downtown Russellville.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

A slate of sponsors help us make this contest possible for the community each year, and we hope you will show them your thanks by patronizing their businesses this season and in the year to come.

Time’s running out. Let’s get coloring!
