Phil Campbell gets big win on Homecoming night

The Phil Campbell Bobcats bounced back after a loss to Midfield with a 34-12 Homecoming win over the Carbon Hill Bulldogs in last week’s game, improving to 2-5 on the season.

Phil Campbell got on the board first, scoring on a three-yard touchdown run by Hayden Wingo, giving the Bobcats a 6-0 lead in the second quarter.

The Bobcats got the ball back and scored again on a 10-yard touchdown run by Wingo again, extending the lead to 14-0.

Phil Campbell scored another touchdown just before the end of the half on a 24-yard touchdown run by Wingo, extending the Phil Campbell lead to 22-0.

The Bobcats opened the second half with a score on an 11-yard rushing touchdown by Wingo, extending their lead to 28-6 with 8:02 left in the third quarter.

Phil Campbell scored again on a five-yard touchdown run by Chandler Benford, making the score 34-6 with 7:17 left in the fourth quarter.

The Phil Campbell Bobcats beat the Carbon Hill Bulldogs 34-12.

Lydia Garrison was crowned Homecoming Queen. Ayla Stowe was first alternate, and Memoree Hester was second alternate.
