Belgreen wins JV, JH county volleyball tournaments
The Belgreen Bulldogs won both the junior varsity and junior high Franklin County volleyball tournaments this weekend at Red Bay.
In the junior varsity division, Belgreen beat Phil Campbell 2-0 in the finals (25-23; 25-22). To reach the finals, Belgreen beat Tharptown 2-0 (25-17; 25-14). Phil Campbell beat Red Bay 2-0 (25-23; 25-15).
In the junior high division, Belgreen beat Red Bay 2-0 (25-16; 25-14). To reach the finals, Belgreen beat Tharptown 2-0 (25-16; 25-10). Red Bay beat Phil Campbell 2-1 (25-13; 15-25; 15-11).
