Red Bay volleyball picks up two wins

The Red Bay Tigers picked up two wins in their home opener this past week, beating Phil Campbell 2-0 and Itawamba 2-0.

In the Phil Campbell match, Shelby Nichols led with 11 aces. Gracie Weatherford and Madeline Ledbetter had five kills each, while Kaylie Lindley had four kills. Talli Hamilton had 11 assists, followed by Addy Blackburn with eight assists.

In the Itawamba match, Madeline Ledbetter had 11 kills, followed by Kaylie Lindley with seven kills along with 13 digs. Hamilton had 15 assists, and Blackburn had 10 assists.
