Local 11U team wins championship

The Braves, a local 11U team made up of players from Franklin County, win the championship of the Sports Southeast Rip City tournament. The team members are Rush Berryman, Riley Carpenter, Kruz Cochran, Conner Gardner, Ty Hamilton, Brayden Messer, Ryder Page, Sawyer Page, Chance Pennington, Carter Rainey, Noach Scott and coach Greg Hamilton. Ty Hamilton was named tournament MVP, going 11-for-11 with three home runs.
