Red Bay no-hits Belgreen for 10-0 win

Red Bay’s Eli Farris pitched a no-hitter against the Belgreen Bulldogs this past week. The Tigers blanked the Bulldogs 10-0 despite generating just three hits.

Farris pitched five innings; he allowed no hits and no runs and struck out six.

B.P. Blair hit a triple and four RBIs, and he scored a run.

The Tigers got their first run in the top of the first inning on a bases-loaded walk, scoring Jeramiah Thorne.

Ty Reynolds scored on a passed ball in the top of the third inning to give Red Bay a 2-0 lead.

Adam Rooker and Harley Strickland scored in the top of the fourth to extend the Tigers’ lead to 4-0.

Red Bay scored six more runs the rest of the way to secure the easy win.

Belgreen committed four errors in the game.
