RFD offers free alarms, including installation

The Russellville Fire Department wants to make sure every home in the City of Russellville has a working smoke alarm.

Anyone who doesn’t have a working smoke alarm, or whose current smoke alarm is more than 10 years old, can call the fire department at 256-332-8765, email main.rfd@gmail.com or search for russellvillealfire on Facebook and send a message.

Leave full name, home address and contact phone number, and someone will be in contact to schedule a time to come out and install a new working smoke alarm as soon as possible.

This offer is for up to one smoke alarm per floor.
