Q: Who are your top returning players?
A: I have seven seniors – Caroline Sparks, Abby Green, Leah Rushing, Jayna Poss, Katie Brooke Cummings, Camille Lynn and Gracie Smith.
Q: Who are some other players you expect to make an impact and why?
A: My junior class, which has six players as well. They are Jaiden Calvert, Olivia Gann, Ashlee Moon, Kara Moore, Anna Beth Oliver and Jenna Whitfield.
Q: What have you learned about your team through the summer and heading into fall practice?
A: They are ready to compete! We have a big team this year with a lot of depth. It’s going to be fun to watch!
Q: What are your expectations of this team?
A: “Together” is our slogan this year – to play together, compete together, to build this program together. The expectation is to compete each time we step foot on the court and to win or learn.
Russellville competes in Class 5A Area 15 with Lawrence County and Madison Academy.
