Making it official

Dexter Hamilton receives his election results for official certification as Russellville City Councilman, District 3. Hamilton was among three candidates who received their certificates last week, including incumbents Gary Cummings and Jamie Harris. All three will assume their positions as city councilmen beginning the first Monday in November.

The city council seats for District 1 and District 2 have yet to be determined; there will be a run-off election Oct. 6 between incumbent David Palmer and challenger Aaron Harbin for District 1 and incumbent William Nale and challenger Darren Woodruff for District 2.
