Red Bay jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Tigers got on the board first when Scott scored on a fielder’s choice. Blackburn and Taneisha Colburn scored later in the inning on Lafayette fielding errors.

Red Bay extended the lead to 5-0 in the top of the second inning when Blackburn hit a two-RBI double into centerfield, scoring Georgia Inman and Scott.
